While working at Red Barn Computers in Binghamton New York, I had to build many different types of websites. Among them were e-commerce websites. This particular website was built using the CRELoaded Pro e-commerce platform consisting of PHP and MySQL. The design is not an original and was chosen by the client, but the modifications of the site were done solely by myself. This project was a simple “set it and forget it” website because once it was all set up, the client, with no knowledge of HTML, or anything to do with web development, is able to maintain the website on their own.

Scared!™, a television show based upon paranormal and ghostly activities, needed a website that they could make page edits on their own. They also wanted to have the option of using it for e-commerce. Taking these two factors into consideration, I decided to use the CRELoaded Professional e-commerce bundle and integrated their add-on, Content Director. In addition to content management and an e-commerce platform, the cast wanted a photo gallery where they could easily batch upload images from their shows. For this I used an open source photo gallery named Gallery. With all these pieces put together, the cast of Scared!™ is able to manage the website on their own.

The Puppy Hugger - Category PageDissatisfied with the their original design, the owner and creator was referred to me by an existing client. The original site was nothing more than an online photo album of about 20 images and a few simple web pages introducing the company. The owner explained to me that they wanted to be able to sell their products online but had a very small budget.

After doing some research, I came across an open source e-commerce software that was perfect for what the company needed. Of course the stand alone product wouldn’t suffice, so I had to program a few different modifications to make it.
