Working at Trusty Solutions, a web design studio in Staten Island, exposed me to many different types of websites. This website was built for a restaurant in Staten Island. The company wanted to post their menu, wine list and a photo gallery on the website. They also wanted customers to be able to book reservations on the website. Another feature of the website is the directions form on the contact page, the client wanted customers to have to only type in their address.

On this project, I took over from a previous freelance web designer. The website was originally all in HTML, but since the owner needed to make constant changes to the headers and footers of each web page, I decided to recode the website into PHP for easier updating. This allowed me to update just one file for the header and one for the footer saving me time and the client money. I also configured and set up an E-Commerce solution for the website using Mal’s-E and Authorize.net.
I constantly updated the website and checked it for any errors that may have occured as the owner also had access to the files and made changes from time to time in the copy of the website. As of 2007, I released all information to the owner as she was debating on whether or not to keep the website open. As of early 2009, the owner contacted me and told me that they have opened a physical store to branch out from just the website as it became very popular, especially in the DUMBO, Brooklyn, New York neighborhood.
